Rice of the Japonica family. Medium and crystalline grain. It is native to Southeast of Asia. It becomes sticky when it is cooked but its texture remains smooth and homogeneous, without breaking the grains. This rice is also used for preparing traditional dishes of the Middle East. COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: It is recommended to prepare sushi. Grain must be washed to remove the starch excess and soak it 30 minutes before cooking. Simmer keeping the container covered. Use two ratios of water to one portion of rice. Approximate cooking time: 15 minutes.
